Down and Dirty review of the Logitech Z2300

Most people know that there are basically two types of computer speakers, those that are well made and sound good, and those that are basically cheap rubbish.. Its quite common to see that people go to the effort of upgrading their computer without giving second thought to the speakers they use. This is a real shame when you consider what you are missing out on Electronic retailers nowadays, seem to have loads of cheap computer speakers, causing us to miss a good deal on the best computer speakers. Researching and finding a good computer speaker really isn't that difficult when you consider how many quality brands there are out there. So it really comes down to cost and what you want to use them for. This is where Logitech has stepped in too help computer users get the best possible experience from their speakers at a sensible price that wont break the bank This is where the Logitech z2300 comes into this This is through the Logitech Z-2300 system. The system is a 2.1 speaker system and is THX certified. It includes a huge sub woofer and 2 medium sized computer speakers. These will give you both bass and some sound staging if you set the satellite speakers apart, but will not give you surround sound. The Logitech Z2300 is also THX Certified which is a bonus It includes a huge sub woofer and 2 medium sized computer speakers. logitech z2300

Now, let’s talk about its satellites. Unlike some of its competitors Logitech has gone for a more classic look, avoiding some of the more adventurous designs out there (think JBL Soundsticks)!. They are set in a modern and simple black/silver color scheme. Because of the way Logitech has designed the Z-2300, I will go well with any type of computer, old or new. From the basic right up to the latest gaming machine The Sub is designed in the same colour, and compliments the satellites very well It measures 10x10x12 and there’s a desktop control unit that includes a large volume and headphone jack as well as a sub woofer knob. No other than, its sonic experience. The system produces a full sound. Also, the satellites make decent treble and midrange that are well matched with the right sub woofer. This is the biggest problem when you buy a cheap or poorly made set of speakers; you tend to find that the midrange is lacking and the treble very harsh, which leaves you wanting to turn the volume down after a while. You also find that the bass is either overpowering or there just isn't any so to speak of. But the Z-2300 does not include such a terrifying midrange gap . logitech z2300

The quality of sound is very tight and clear. The sounds of pop and rock music are very clean and contains accurate and emphasized vocals than those cheaper speaker that include rich bass that does not beat. In addition, movies and video games are much enhanced since the sub woofer is precisely tuned and sized to emphasize the audio and not subdue it. logitech z2300

One of the things that surprised me about the Logitech Z-2300 was that you could turn the volume right up and there was no distortion, making these speakers ideal for the occasional party The rate of this computer speaker system is 200W RMS, which is somewhat a lot since many people are normally seated a foot or two away from the source. At around $150, you can already get your desktop a matched computer speaker that produces clean and accurate sound.
